CHANNEL Desktop Application

How it works:

After signing in and selecting Channel as the Product, 

• you will be shown a download icon in the right corner (third last) of the URL bar of the browser. ON clicking it, a popup will appear.

• you will see a banner on the top of the page with the option to Install.
  
  

 

Click install. The desktop application will be installed and opened and the browser tab will be closed.

 

 Note: Only supported in Google Chrome.

Purpose:

You get all of the benefits of a desktop solution and can still access the software from a remote computer. A desktop application has the product icon to make it recognizable and is easily and quickly accessible. 

 

Benefit: 

Users can download the desktop application directly from the website. It shows the unread message badge to keep the user updated in the background.
